Days come, when Clouds roll in

Depression, Oppression, says 

You can’t win

You face the valley, 

of rejection

 so dark and so deep

You scan the Mountain terrain 

So rough and so steep

Your heart overwhelmed

With the pressures of life

​

Chaos, confusion, 

contention, and strife

​

The load seems so heavy 

almost to much to bear

​

Your mind starts to wonder

Does anyone care?

​

You think to yourself

 is this where I’ll die?

​

Then the voice of Jesus whispers 

Alone is a lie

 

He gently cups your chin,

raises your gaze to the skies

​

You catch the beauty

of the sunrise

​

Light illuminates the darkness

that hovers all around

 

All chains and all bondages

 fall to the ground

​

You see the face of the Father

He was there all along

​

The heart beat of Holy Spirit

comes to make you strong

​

Once again you scan the terrain 

of the high mountain

​

This time love comes like a flood, 

like a fountain

​

Suddenly your feet fill with

strength and with grace

 

And you find yourself climbing

 to the high place

​

The enemies attacks forceful and hard

The enemies loss

 

Because of my Jesus 

and His death on the Cross

BLESS THE MESSENGER

 

The enemy sent a messenger to try to pollute my mind

 

he brought a spirit of rejection backed by a spirit of lies

 

Oh he thought that he was clever thought he'd steal my joy

 

But what the enemy didn't know was I already knew his ploy

 

So he revealed his information about his operation covert

 

his ploy and his tactic only my heart to hurt

 

Oh but what he didn't realize about the ground that he just trod

 

Was the one that went before him was none other than my God

 

See God had already revealed to me the secret of the enemy

 

He said if had to be done in secret just know that its not of me

 

The messenger that enemy used may not have had a clue

 

So Father forgive the messenger for they know not what they do

and lead many souls to grace.

But this gift that is inside you is an instrument in God's hands

Used to tell others of His love and tell them of His Plans

The countless souls that you meet, feeling an emptiness within

Tell them how God created that space, it's meant to be filled him

So the gift that is inside of you don't conceal and don't ever hide

Let the world see and let world know, in God's love you abide.

 Chosen by Him to be His Sons Bride because He loves you beyond measure!

You have a special gift from God that sometimes you may see as a bother

 

But as an instrument in the hand of God it Glorifies the Father

Is an awesome opportunity for Gods kingdom to advance

MY WEAKNESS

 

After fifteen Years of Ministry 

I now have come to find

So many chains had bound me, 

Kept me living blind

​

Self righteousness an enemy

Self pity I now see

Self absorption and self-centeredness

 had found a home in me

 

My perspective of many things 

Was viewed deceptively

And much of my life was lived out bitterly

 

Fear of being rejected 

had built many a wall 

Hardening of the heart 

had made my Spirit dull

 

Fear of being wrong

Kept my mind deluded

Fear of correction 

Kept my confidence secluded

 

Bound by unforgiveness 

Over things said and done

My ability to show Gods love

Had been shallow, next to none

​

Attempting to protect loved ones 

 from worldly participation

Taught true scriptures in a way 

That lead to isolation

 

Trying to perfect ourselves

 Is not life at all

It leaves us in the prison

 Of living by the law

​

So after fifteen years of Ministry 

And all I thought I knew

I've now have come to the realize, 

I didn't have a clue

​

The person who I was though

 Is not whom I shall be

 And I no longer keep these issues

 Between My God and me

 

For the cause of countless others,

 With struggles, similar or the same

I now share my story despite the

voice of accusation, guilt or shame

​

Gods voice is so much bigger than

Than the voices that defame

And the only hope for any man

Is the Power of Jesus Name

​

Though the enemy stands before My God 

Saying You should disqualify her

Jesus pleads my case and says the devil is a liar

​

2 Corinthians 12:9

 

9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

   As I sit here Lord oh my thoughts how they race

With the cares of this world and the problems in this place.

But You oh God are in control 

In Your hands my life You hold

You've always been there to keep me afloat

When I felt I was sinking without a boat

My heart is so full when I think of Your love

And the showers of mercy You rain from above

 

​

You've chosen me though sometimes I wonder why

With all that I am I will love You and try

To bring glory to Your name as I walk through this life

In a world so full of bitterness and strife
