SET THE LORD BEFORE YOU
DAY 5
Psalms 16:8
I have set the Lord continually before me;
Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken."
WE MUST KEEP HIM BEFORE US AS OUR DELIVERER.
It is very possible to be free from sins such as
" immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, drunkenness, and
carousing, and still be bound by
DOUBT, FEAR, PRIDE, MATERIALISM, COMPLACENCY, and
so on.
It may not be the bondage from WITHOUT that we need to be delivered from.
It may be bondage from WITHIN our soul
within our mind, within our will or within our emotions.
Many people live good clean lives, yet they are bound by unbelief, or anger or
resentment, because of wrong done against them, and they live in fear of wrong
being done to them.
I read a quote once that said:
I have known people who wouldn’t think of drinking a drop of alcohol or putting
a cigarette to their mouth but are very quick to light the match of gossip and
contention. (Unknown)
It is the will of God that we be delivered within and without!
To be totally delivered from the sins of the flesh.
GOD IS THE DELIVERER OF ALL.
Psalms 34:17-19
" The righteous cry, and the Lord hears
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all."

GALATIANS SPEAKS OF A BATTLE GOING ON BETWEEN THE FLESH AND THE
SPIRIT.
Galatians 5:16-25
" But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.
For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh;
for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that
you please. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. Now the
deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,
idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes,
dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these,
of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice
such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control;
against such things, there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ
Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit."
LET'S KEEP HIM BEFORE US AS OUR DELIVERER.
AND BE DELIVERED FROM WITHIN AND WITHOUT!
2 Samuel 22:2-4
" He said,
“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge;
My savior, You save me from violence.
“I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
And

saved from my enemies!!!!!!
Psalms 40:13-17
" Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver US;
Make haste, O Lord, to help US.
Let those be ashamed and humiliated together
Who seek OUR life to destroy it;
Let those be turned back and dishonored
Who delight in OUR hurt.
Let those be appalled because of their shame
Who say to US, “Aha, aha!”
Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;
Let those who love Your salvation say continually,
“The Lord be magnified!”
Since WE are afflicted and needy,
Let the Lord be mindful of US.
You are OUR help and OUR deliverer;
Do not delay, O my God."
