SET THE LORD BEFORE YOU
DAY 9
Psalms 16:8
I have set the Lord continually before me;
Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken."
WE MUST KEEP HIM BEFORE US AS OUR SONG.
Exodus 15:1-2
The Song of Moses and Israel
Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this SONG to the Lord, and said,
“ I will SING to the Lord, for He is highly exalted;
The horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea.
“ The Lord is my strength and SONG,
And He has become my salvation;
This is my God, and I will praise Him;
My father’s God, and I will extol Him.
Psalms 18:1-3
" The Lord Praised for Giving Deliverance.
For the choir director. A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord, who spoke to the
Lord the words of this SONG in the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand
of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said,
“I love You, O Lord, my strength.”
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
And I am saved from my enemies."
KEEPING THE LORD BEFORE US AS OUR SONG GIVES US BOLDNESS TO SPEAK
AGAINST OUR ENEMIES.
1 Samuel 2:1-2
Hannah’s SONG of Thanksgiving
Then Hannah prayed and said,
“My heart exults in the Lord;
My horn is exalted in the Lord,
My mouth speaks boldly against my enemies,
Because I rejoice in Your salvation.
“There is no one holy like the Lord,
Indeed, there is no one besides You,
Nor is there any rock like our God.
1 Chronicles 16:23-25
Sing to the Lord, all the earth;
Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.
Tell of His glory among the nations,
His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.
For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
He also is to be feared above all gods.
LETS KEEP THE LORD BEFORE US AS OUR SONG
EXULTING HIM WITH SONGS FROM THE HEART THAT SHOWER HIM WITH
THANKSGIVING!
Psalms 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart exults,
And with my SONG I shall thank Him.
Psalms 30:4
Sing praise to the Lord, you His godly ones,
And give thanks to His holy name.
